Palo Alto Art Center is pleased to welcome Bonsai enthusiast Bill McDonald and Bonsai Instructor, Valeri Monroe from the SF Bay Area bonsai club, Sei Boku Bonsai Kai in San Mateo. Bill and Valerie will make a presentation regarding what specifically makes a bonsai pot and, what a bonsai enthusiast looks for in a pot. They will have examples of noted national bonsai ceramic artists’ work, as well as average mass produced pots and their relative price ranges. Potters interested in making bonsai pottery and anyone interested in learning more about making and selecting pottery for bonsai are welcome to attend this informal presentation. This event is open to the public and free to attend but require to register as space is limited.
