Quantum Martial Arts is a nonprofit martial arts school in SE Portland. We offer sliding scale community classes for kids and adults. We are looking for some assistant instructors for our growing kids program. If you’re interested in martial arts we can quickly teach you the basics of what is needed to begin assisting in our kids program. We are looking for people that are interested in learning about teaching kids. Teaching kids requires a playfulness and a willingness to learn yourself, we can quickly teach you enough martial arts to begin helping our kids learn. With time and training you will also become a qualified martial arts instructor. Quantum creates a fun learning environment to teach kids about body awareness, balance, strength and self-discipline. Our kids respond quickly and start showing up with more confidence in their every day lives. If you’re interested in learning how to teach, our philosophy has proven to be very effective.
