Description
Singer songwriter looking to work with a passionate violinist. Boyd Tinsley?
I have been writing songs for a minute now and just got to Seattle. Time to play, going to start acoustically,...looking for like minded folks. Will add drums/bass, 2nd guitar and keys later if needs..so you prob...
love to pick up/play your instrument all the time...just to create or to jam or to practice. I am def willing to put in the work if we fit. You should be ok with playing against someone else music and creating creative 'bass lines' fills ands solos...love solos and picking and highlighting the strings (again, think Boyd), so we'll do that, but the melody and the framework of the song is created already. Not to say we won't make all new music, that will hopefully happen.
I am not hung up on age, I'd take a 19 year old virtuoso, but it would make sense to be 29-40 something. At least you need to have some maturity and bring the energy it takes. I love golf, but I take it serious. I love music, but I am going to take any project I do seriously. So let's do it or we won't, right. IDK as far as practice, at first it would be work out times that work, but I down for a few days a week at least, if not sharing riff digitally as well when we can.
Let's start by playing for 10-15 minutes, forget about links. It's so much more important to meet someone you plan on playing with for a long time than to share a link a say, this isn't for me. Agreed?
Ideal: Start w/practice for a few weeks until we feel someone ready...then we start w/ something like the Conor Byrne on Sunday, two piece, vocal/guitar and violin. Crush it.
