I need to rehome Akelah, my yellow lab. My intentions were to give her somewhere to live her life in peace until she passes away. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep her anymore due to a change in pet policies at my apartment and I NEED to find her a new home ASAP! I've had her for 2 months over what I was supposed to and am now facing eviction if I don't find her a place. I have all of her paperwork, from family trees to bloodwork to vaccine/vet records to AKC registration, everything! This poor girl just needs a forever home, she truly does deserve it. I wish things could be different and that I could keep her myself, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I would like to briefly mention that she does NOT like other dogs at first but once she warms up to them, she will be very comfortable. She now absolutely LOVES cats, and she's kind of nervous around loud noises, especially when they come from kids, but she would never hurt a kid. She's super friendly with all kinds of people, doesn't bark as I've only heard her bark twice in her life. There is a rehoming fee to ensure that she goes to a family that can support and care for her, and can supply her the way she needs and deserves. Serious inquiries only!
