We're seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to the repair and maintenance of the operation of JLG industrial aerial equipment. They will be responsible for understanding the inner workings of all machinery as required of a Forklift Mechanic. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred 4-5+ years in heavy equipment or forklift maintenance. JLG experience encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Build and assemble lift machines or mechanical components according to requirements • Inspect lift machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues • Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability • Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner • Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems • Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components • Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery • Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machinery • Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems) • Keep logs of work and report on issues Benefits to include: • Company paid health benefits • Holidays • Vacation, sick time, birthday off • Bonuses • 401K To apply, please respond to this ad.
