This is Mars. He is awesome, however I’m moving and I can’t figure a way that he gets to come so hoping I can find an equally awesome person to adopt him. Mars is a neutered 3 year old cattle dog mix and gets lots of comments about his fine looks. He is a chill happy guy, remarkably chill. Like, doesn’t need a collar or leash chill (unless there are cars about) because he stays close and sees/knows what’s happening next. He loves fetch and gears up for that, but when the ball is put away - chill. He’s an equally dear, sensitive and gentle being. When I tell him he’s a good dog it seems woefully inadequate. Besides being so chill, he’s just plain easy. Car time? Ok. Bedtime? Ok. Leaving him alone? Ok. Hiking? Ok. A rare quality for a herding dog. Nothing phases him except scissors, but he had that that when I got him 4 months ago. He’s from Utah, and as a desert dog naturally thinks the sandbar is the greatest place on earth. Great with other dogs, chickens, people, little kids etc. No sign of prey drive though he recently discovered birds up in trees in the morning which he thinks is very exciting, but he’s happy to leave that when I continue with our walk. Like I said, easy. Not a common attribute for a cattle dog and makes him all the more awesome in my book. I wish he could come but maybe he’s just destined to stay in the gorge🤷‍♂️ Lmk if you have questions or to would like to come meet him. Rob
