MOCK JURORS NEEDED (REMOTE via ZOOM for BRONX, MANHATTAN, BROOKLYN, or QUEENS residents) $100 for a 4 hour commitment on Thursday, October 20th (evening) or Saturday, October 22nd (morning). Our NYC law firm is seeking participants in a “mock jury” to test our litigation approach to a real-world legal case. The project will be very much like serving on a real jury in NYC, and you will learn a lot. Our attorneys will present aspects of the case, and we’ll ask for your feedback along the way. This will help us refine our approach to the case when it comes to the actual trial in a real court. You will listen to witness testimony, review exhibits, participate in discussions, and fill out a feedback questionnaire about what you heard and saw. Below are the requirements and a link to a screening survey. If you are what we are looking for, we will reach out to you sometime between Oct 15th and 18th. You will be contacted for a brief interview if you are a candidate with additional questions from the Mock Jury organizer. Please only apply with the link below if you can meet ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS listed below… REQUIREMENTS • You must be adept at attending zoom meetings on your COMPUTER, not smartphone or tablet. • You are a resident of the BRONX (preferred), MANHATTAN, BROOKLYN, or QUEENS • A CONDITION of payment is that you pay complete attention to the Zoom presenting attorneys with your absolute focus. You will be required to mute your other devices and ignore other stuff going on in your computer screen. You must remain visible on screen throughout (cameras on). Your FULL ATTENTION during the 4 hour commitment is a CONDITION for payment. HOW YOU WILL BE PAID… • We will pay you $100 via VENMO CASH APP, or ZELLE immediately after the mock jury session, and completion of your participation survey. If you wish for another payment method, for example by a mailed check… You can discuss that with your interviewer if you are a selected candidate. Thank you for your consideration.
