Doors open at 5:30pm, Movie Screening at 6:00pm, Complimentary Parking, Popcorn and Water. As the 50th Anniversary of the Homecoming of the Vietnam Prisoners of War approaches, the stories of those men take on new meaning and importance. Their stories of isolation and torture, of their patriotism and courage, and of the survival of those who made it home can be found in news footage, oral history, even several films. But how can these sources be brought together in new and insightful fashion to teach us the relevance of their experiences in today's world? Further, how are their experiences relative to today's Midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy? A student of their experiences marvels at how these POW experienced greater post traumatic growth compared to post traumatic stress. POW: Passing on Wisdom answers these and other questions through the eyes of the POW POW: Passing on Wisdom is a production of 3 Penny Films, in association with the United States Naval Academy Foundation and Finnegan's Wake Films.
