Very Greasy is the brainchild of Dan Kelly & Andre Lascoutx, both musicians in mid-coast Maine. The name is derived from their mutual love of “maxi-instrumentalist” David Lindley and his band El Rayo-X; whose 3rd album is called “Very Greasy.” They play an eclectic mix of world & dance music and Dan and Andre intend to do the same, playing select choices from El Rayo-X’s discography along with classic songs from Paul Simon, The Police, Ry Cooder & more.
