Mind-body practices such as gentle yoga, guided relaxation, meditation, and qigong are among the most effective evidence-based tools for stabilizing mental wellbeing, supporting healthy brain chemistry, and balancing the nervous system. In this 6-week course, learn simple and effective practices and principles that support mental health and psychological resilience even and especially when going through painful and adverse life experiences. Establish a relationship of safety, caretaking, and compassion towards yourself. No prior experience with yoga, meditation or qigong is required. This class is suitable for everyone, regardless of physical limitations. It is okay if you cannot attend every single session. A recording of the lecture and practices will be provided in the case of a missed class. Space is limited, so advanced registration is required.
