Co-hosted with E. Shaver, booksellers, Current Conversations is a gathering of locals to discuss current, local, and important news in and around Savannah. This month, we will be discussing disinformation and election campaigns. At a time when civic engagement is more important than ever, finding factual, reliable information on candidates and political races can be a challenge. Join us to learn how our investigative reporters hunt down the truth in their reporting, and find out tips and tricks for you to do the same for the upcoming election cycle. This event will be held at The Current’s newsroom courtyard—the #805 Southern Railway train car named, “Georgia,” located beside the Savannah Visitor Center Parking Lot (303 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.) We will be serving light refreshments.
