The Assistant Mill Manager assists the Manager and coordinates the activities of team members engaged in the care of the feed mill at the Feed yard facility. Adheres to safety policies, responsible for expense management and Beef Quality Assurance Handling Guidelines.Roles and Tasks:Help coordinate team of 4-6 individuals, monitoring all mill taskAssist with controls and scales to produce a consistent, top quality ration per the Nutritionist guidelines.Know location of all mill machinery, schedules production and maintenance of all equipmentPerform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment to ensure a safe working environmentAssist with maintaining inventory at desired levelsFulfills all reporting and record keeping requirements
