Rehoming female border collie/Australian Shepard mix

Six year old female border collie / Australian Shepard mix looking for forever home. We rescued her about four years ago. She had lived on a farm and rode in a truck with her person who was a long haul driver. She is incredibly sweet. Accepting of all dogs and people - a little too excited to see new people and pets at first. As my boys have aged, they have less time to spend with her. And once I returned to work, things have just gotten worse. She gets in the trash and knocks things off shelves when left alone all day. When we do get home she is extremely needy: underfoot every step and wanting constant attention. She needs someone around during the day. Or someone more experienced with herding dogs. We love her but we are not at a place in our lives to give her what she needs to be happy. I'm hoping someone else could use a loving pet companion or be familiar with herding dogs and their needs. We are asking for a $50 rehoming fee.
