Production Brewer - Urban Growler Brewing Company. Full-time. Job Description: Urban Growler Brewing Company is looking for a Brewer to join our team. This job requires an excellent work ethic. Candidates must demonstrate that they are a self starter. Excellent organization skills. Able to work independently. The ability to take on new challenges and develop skills within the business are keys to success in this position. Must be a team player. Urban Growler is looking for people that are excited to be part of the craft brewing business. Responsibilities: Perform daily brewery activities, including brewhouse operations, tank and environmental cleaning, yeast handling, cellar work, filter operation and dry hopping. Perform quality control checks of beer throughout brewing process: Check gravity, monitor fermentation, carbonation, transferring, packaging and facilitate sensory panels. Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area at all times. Clean, sanitize all equipment, tanks and brewery areas per company protocols and standards. Keep accurate inventory and quality management of raw materials and chemicals. Brew beer to Urban Growler Brewing Company standards and keep accurate records in our system. Assist in canning line and racking departments as necessary. Previous production brewery experience is a plus. Understanding of brewery processes and entire hot and cold side processes, including cellaring, filtering, dry hopping and packaging. General knowledge of sanitation. Ability to lift a minimum of 50-75 lbs. Schedule: Monday to Friday. 8am-4:30pm. Holidays off. Health insurance and Paid time off.
