Upcoming Music / Art Cafe / Creative Hub Seeking Unique & Motivated Individuals

A friend and I purchased a vintage airstream that needs to be renovated, with plans to turn it into an outdoor music cafe that will serve delicious coffee/espresso, CBD coffee, and eventually creative cocktails. There will also be live music regularly since I’m a musician. We’re hoping to turn this space into a creative hub/community space where artists, craftspeople, and other likeminded individuals can come and sell their work on certain days. We’re also going to offer discounts to first responders, military/veterans, and have semi-annual food drives to benefit the homeless and struggling members of the community. In addition to the airstream itself, we’ve already purchased another steel trailer frame to take steel from in order to reinforce the current frame. We’ve also already purchased the sub-floor, a commercial grade coffee/espresso machine that we’re going to have fixed up soon, a commercial grade ice machine, a sink, and a sand blaster to remove some rust from the steel frame (amongst other things). Since the next steps are going to require a decent among of work and energy (especially for only 2 people), we wanted to gauge interest to see if anyone would be interested in collaborating with us to bring this concept to life. Since a lot of our budget is going towards equipment, flooring, etc., we don’t have a huge budget for hiring professional contractors. Ideally, if any artists, craftspeople, jewelry makers, or other types of creatives want to volunteer some of their time to working on the airstream, we could repay them by allowing them to sell their work at the business once it’s up and running. Also, if anyone who has aspirations of going into construction, welding, electric, plumbing, etc. would like to gain some hands on experience, we would be happy to write great, personalized written references. Lastly, there’s a good possibility we’ll need to hire one or two people to make coffee once the business is up and running, so anyone who helps us work on the airstream would definitely be considered first before opening it up to other people.
