Bass Player Needed - Metal/Prog/Grunge/Alt

We are a drummer and vocalist/guitarist, practicing regularly now. This may be a tall order, but we need a confident bass player who is VERY comfortable with odd time signatures. The music isn't all metal---it's actually a lot of different blended styles. However, we stress a metal emphasis in this posting because of the skill required to play the songs. You could sit down with the guitarist and go through things on an acoustic and see if you can learn some of the riffs before escalating things to electric as they're performed. This is new material, there's no demos, but there are some samples of older works and stuff available. Please share something of your playing. Preferably, you could snap a short phone video of you playing a little Lamb of God, Tool, Meshuggah, or something "metal", so we can get an idea of your playing and share with us a link. We don't want to waste anyone's time if it seems you wouldn't be able to keep up. Cheers! Caveat.... If you're a guitarist that would like to shift your focus to bass, I have excellent gear you could borrow.
