OrePac Building Products Warehouse Cherry Picker Order Selector FULL-TIME $18/hr 5050 Ironton St, Denver, CO 80239 Responsibilities include: • Must be able to operate an electric order picker / cherry picker safely and efficiently • Must be able to operate a sit down forklift Propane and or Electric safely and efficiently • Keeping designated work areas supplied with material, piling or stacking materials safely in designed locations • Follows and complies with OrePac procedures and state and federal safety regulations • Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed • Preparing and maintaining records of amounts of materials or items received or distributed • Uploading, moving and storing a variety of materials, parts or products. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code • Using RF gun to fill orders from storage areas and warehouse stock and deliver to designated department or to shipping preparation area • Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department Experience operating forklifts and or order pickers/cherry pickers preferred Starting at $18 per hour, negotiable based on qualifying experience Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM or 7:00AM or 8:00AM - Shift length: 8 - 12 hours - Days: Monday - Friday May be required to work overtime Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Qualifications - 18+ years old - Can lift 75+ lbs - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - - REQUIRED SKILLS: - Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations - Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Ability to perform all job functions safely - PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: - Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl - Regularly required to see, talk, and hear - Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls - Regularly reach with hands and arms - Regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds - Specific vision abilities include peripheral vision - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 75 lbs About OrePac Building Products OrePac Building Products is a wholesale building materials supplier providing product, sales, and technology solutions to the shelter industry.
