Looking to jam some of the classic, simple, 80s-90s style, Lookout Records pop punk? (Sometimes referred to as ramones-core, not my favorite phrasing but there it is). By pop punk I don't mean the early-mid 2000s stuff, Wonder Years, Blink182, Saves the Day etc. No judgement, just not my cuppa. But if you worship the Ramones, and want to play stuff similar to Sloppy Seconds, Huntingtons, Screeching Weasel, Teenage Bottlerocket, Teen Idols, Squirtgun, etc etc, grab your leather jacket and LETS PARTY. I'm in my 30's, in NE pdx, sing and play bass (rhythm guitar if necessary or for writing purposes), have professional touring and recording experience, got about a dozen original tunes in this style in various stages of completeness, and it would be awesome to get a band/project going! Ideally 3-4 people, fun above all, crude humor, no elitists, appreciation (or at least knowledge) of genre preferred!
