Twice in the past 2 days I have had two different people try to pull this scam on me. I answered an ad for a kitten for adoption from both of these individuals and both people asked me all the same questions and sent the same text telling me I needed to confirm I was a real person. The scam starts with the person asking for your phone number to text you. They then text you asking if you are a real person. They then send you a text from Google Voice Verification. Then they ask for the code. They can use that code to open a phone number up under your name and your account to scam other people and it will all link back to your phone number. Please never give anyone your personal information. If you would like the ad and the numbers of these individuals please contact me directly.
