We are holding an online jury focus group (by Zoom) on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (MT). You be the jury! Listen to the facts of an interesting legal case and you tell us what you think and what information is important to you. You will hear opening statements from both parties, a presentation of the evidence by both parties, and closing arguments from both parties. You will participate in a group discussion about the case and decide who wins the case. Best of all, you will have fun! To participate, you must have a computer or tablet with a camera and internet access and be able to attend the entire session (on camera) without interruption. To apply, you must complete all questions on this questionnaire –. Applications without complete answers will not be considered. All information is confidential and will not be shared with any third party. If selected for the October 22 jury focus group, we will contact you by Monday, October 17. If selected for the October 22 jury focus group, you will: - Receive a confidentiality agreement, which must be returned by October 21. - Receive a Zoom video conference link via email on October 21 (if you've returned the confidentiality agreement). - Log in no later than 8:00 a.m. on October 22. Anyone attempting to log in after that will not be allowed to participate. The pay is $100.00 and will be paid via PayPal only. You must have a PayPal account to participate – no other payment method will be allowed. IMPORTANT: In order to receive payment, you must complete a mock trial questionnaire, which will be provided as a Google Form. There will be time built into the jury focus group to complete the mock trial questionnaire, but the questionnaire must be completed no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 22.
