Description

I was short-term admitted to the UNC Hospital. The nurses refused me water for 12 hours. I had to beg for it. I was never red-banded for anaphylactic allergies even after begging them to do it. One nurse said I would have had something to drink with my breakfast. I never received breakfast. While everyone was receiving their juice boxes and nicotine patches, I couldn't even get water. 3 hours later, a different nurse showed with breakfast. She said like I was a dog, "here's your breakfast!" I looked at it, seeing that they gave me what I'm allergic to. I stated that. She replied with venom, "What on there are you allergic to?!!" Then, they wouldn't take the tray out of my room. She just left it. When I told other nurses that if I were to eat that, I'd be dead and since they only check on the smokers, I'd be dead for several hours before they'd know, they finally took the tray out. They refused me an inhaler as well when I was having asthma difficulty. This hospital is beyond criminal.
