Found domesticated pigeon

A white Pigeon landed on my truck and has been here for 2 days. Timid but just short of letting you grab it. Has a yellow band one one leg and a blue band on the other. Giving it some seed and water and it insists on staying close to the house. Needs a home. Research tells me it is a homing or racing pigeon that is lost or stopped due to fatigue. Since it recovered and hasn't moved on tells me its lost. Would like to find someone to take it vs just leaving it to the elements. I'm in Adrian just east of Siena Heights stadium.
