Lively Productions is a Denver-based Event Design & Decor Studio specializing in extravagant decor and pays close attention to small details. Lively Productions provides all the essential needs for an event, including drape, centerpieces, custom graphic design prints, large to small decorations, and accent lighting. Lively Productions is looking for a highly motivated and creative event crew to help install custom event decor for our clients and their events. The Event Crew is responsible for loading and unloading event decor cargo, and setting up and striking (taking down) the event decor. TRAITS FOR SUCCESS -Safety Minded -On Time -Good team player -Diligence and Attention to Detail -Physical Stamina and High Energy Levels -Handy with Tools ESSENTIAL DUTIES | WHAT YOU’LL DO -Loads and unloads props, furniture, and event decor into provided vehicles and trucks for delivery to clients, venues and to return products to Lively Productions. -Packs and unpacks props, furniture, floral products and other Event Decor. -Prepare and assembles, installs and uninstalls portable bars, furniture, fabric backdrops, and other room decor throughout the event venue. May install products in entryways, on ceilings, floors, walls and columns. -Returns props, furniture, floral products and other event decor to appropriate locations for storage -Works carefully to minimize damage and breakage of products. -Sweeps and removes debris from event venues to ensure venue is left clean and without damage. QUALIFICATIONS | WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING -Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. and team lift bigger objects. -Up to 1 year of event setup experience preferred. -Ability to understand, read and speak English. -Ability to interpret load lists. -Familiarity with proper packing methods is helpful. -Good verbal communication skills. -Ability to multitask and deal with competing demands. -Ability to take direction. -Customer service orientation, able to maintain a professional demeanor with clients. -Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include: hammer, screwdriver, hand drills, tape measure, dollies, lifts and 8’ and 12’ ladders. -Ability to tolerate long work shifts and work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends. -Ability to travel locally, and outside the city. SPECIAL SKILLS | NICE BUT NOT REQUIRED While the primary job duties are listed above, an extra set of skills for in shop in any of the following areas will be taken highly into consideration: -Theatrical Set/Prop Design -Rigging & Stage Lighting -Event Design -Carpentry -Painting -Sculpting/Modeling Compensation: $18-$23 per hour depending on experience and skills.
