Thank you for taking the time to read this: I appreciate it whether or not you can help in any way. I am a single mother seeking housing for myself and my daughter and one small cat who is up to date on all vaccinations. We must move immediately due to mold found in our current living area. We need a one or two bedroom apartment /in-law apartment/cottage in the 1200 a month range. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer this year and just had surgery last month but I am ready now to return to work and am currently seeking a job in the area. I receive child support and ssi for my daughter who is disabled as family income. Our biggest problem/obstacle right now is that nobody will rent to me because I don’t earn 3x the rent. I have a clean background, willing to have it checked thoroughly, and excellent references. We have first, last and security in hand and are willing to pay an additional month as well if we can get into a place asap. School district is not an issue, as my daughter attends private school, so any town is fine, Woonsocket, johnston, Warwick, east providence and anywhere near.
