Toy Aussie needs a dog park FRIEND

I am looking for a friend or companion for my toy Red and White Australian Shepherd; Age 3. We like to go to Alhambra Hall or IOP dog park but can travel; he's very special, only 16 pounds, and a little high strung and will wear out most dogs ! I've never seen one this tiny or smart or social/friendly. Wondering if there's anyone out there with a similar or compatible breed. Every dog we have met so far is too little too slow or too big for my little guy. I think a Jack Russell may be a good match for this guy. I don't work, so I can meet almost anytime.
