The black female MSNBC commentator indicates that DeSantis is pure Jim Crow after he states that Florida is a Second Amendment state, a law and order state, that looting will not be tolerated, and one will never know what lurks behind the doors of homes ravaged by Ian. He never mentioned race at all. But this black commentator was particularly offended by his statements designed to warn off looters. This is a telling acknowledgment that she knows that by far most looters are black, and that blacks have a reputation and long history of looting. But looting isn't reserved for blacks only. Just days after he made those public statements, news reports that four looters were caught, and they have Hispanic names. This black MSNBC commentator did the black community a disservice by throwing a hissy-fit at his public warnings. It also shows the propensity of prominent blacks, or at least one with a social platform, to play the race card at the slightest opportunity. The credibility of her assertions is ZERO.
