Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for a Fall Color Float down the Delaware River to get out on the Kansas River in Lecompton. We will enjoy the changing colors of the leaves along the banks of the Delaware, likely see some Eagles and enjoy some time on the sandbar on the Kaw. Sunday October 23rd 12:30 gear drop 1pm check in time for the Dirty Bus. What to expect? The Kansas river is a bit low but that's ok, we will find a channel of moving water and zigzag our way downriver. You may have to get out and pull your kayak a couple of times but that's all part of the adventure! This event is open to Dirty Girls, Dirty Dudes! You will receive a detailed informational email the day before the event. Details... GEAR DROP: 12:30am . OYO's will gear drop in Lawrence at in order to have time to return to Eudora for boarding the bus. Bus Check in: 1:00pm We will gather in Lecompton to load the bus. Regular Rental: $60 Club Rental: $50 Oyo (Bring your own kayak and gear) Please know that if you need help with your kayak you should plan to tip the minion or the guide that assists you. OYO prices are lower because you are doing the heavy lifting. Regular OYO: $40 Club OYO: $30 Dirty Girl Adventures Event Refund Policy: Refunds are given up to one week before the date of the event when the request for cancellation is EMAILED to us no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel or modify an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions. What are you paying for? It's more than a rented kayak, it's an experience! We will lift and haul all the gear you need for your adventure. We will provide instruction, support, guidance and safety information before and during each event. We will be there with you for the duration of the event doing our best to help you remain comfortable and engaged in the adventure. You will have the opportunity to ride the Dirty Bus as your shuttle from one point to the other.
