Experience the atmosphere and support as we honor our veterans when their flight returns from Washington DC!! We will be meeting on Tuesday, October 18th from 8:00-10:00 pm. The plane is scheduled to arrive between 8:30-9:00 pm. Details: 1) Scouts, please wear your Class A uniform! 2) Earn service hours and honor our nation's veterans. 3) Bring patriotic "thank you" signs! 4) Please arrive at the airport by 8:00 pm. Park in the long-term parking area. You'll receive a free parking voucher inside the airport terminal. When you exit the parking lot, show them both the normal parking ticket and the free parking voucher. About Eastern Iowa Honor Flight: Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
