Top of Alabama Regional Councils of Governments (TARCOG) is a non-profit organization that provides free social programs to the elderly and disabled populations in Northeast Alabama. We are currently planning the 7th Annual Caregiver College. Celebrated every November, National Family Caregivers Month (NFCM) is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country. It offers an opportunity to raise awareness of caregiving issues, educate communities, and increase support for caregivers. In celebration of National Caregiver Month, the Caregiver College will provide a free and public daylong event that celebrates caregivers in our region. The event will offer workshops and interactive sessions to empower caregivers to be extraordinary. These caregivers are often the unsung heroes to their loved ones and their community. In past years, over 300 caregivers have attended this event. The event will be held at Willowbrook Madison Campus on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. We aim to provide our attendees a free breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Due to our non-profit status, our funding is very limited and we are in desperate need of sponsors. We admire the hospitality and community connection that serves as a pillar to the success of your brand. Therefore, we are seeking contributions to help cover the expenses of the event.
