This is directed to musicians that happen to be artists that may be interested putting a band together. Odds are long finding a situation playing original music that might take you around the region, lesser yet the country let alone the world. There are many really good musicians around, however many have themselves in a position that makes the eventuality untenable. When you're young & dumb luck is your best thing going, it's easy. But the older you get and the more stuff is accumulated, not so much. Attitudes change along with priorities & day tripping with the band to break even or make a little scratch doesn't cut it. If you're not discouraged, I'm a singer, songwriter, rhythm player looking for bandmates, around 40 yrs, give or take that wouldn't mind trying. Lead player, bass, drummer, keys. I'm into simple blues rock n roll, folk, country/rock, rockabilly, hard rock. Not into the, "nu-metal, or playing all hard rock/metal, or Cookie Monster/death metal I'm seeeking players that have writing ablities, sing lead/back up, have a catalog of work, can play at a better than adverage clip and know when not to play at all.
