Salary determined after reviewing application • Large attendance bonuses offered with participation in all snow events ***JOB DESCRIPTION*** We are looking for a salt/sand spreading truck driver for the season. This position is on an on-call/as needed basis throughout the winter months. The ideal candidate will be available on short notice for all snow events. If there is snow, rain, or sleet, candidate must be there. The ideal candidate must safely and efficiently operate equipment and can effectively manage time without supervision. ***WORK WEEK*** • Snow falls on average twice a week • Peak months are December, January, and February • Off peak months are October, November, March, and April ***RESPONSIBILITIES*** • Must safely, properly, and efficiently operate salt/sand spreading truck and equipment at commercial properties, including but not limited to multi-family locations, roadways, parking lots, pedestrian pathways, driveways, dock areas, and exteriors of high trafficked areas to pre-treat or de-ice areas with a specific mixture of product. • May assist during an ice or snow event with salt spreading or removing snow by operating other equipment. • Be ready for duty when winter storms are possible. ***QUALIFICATIONS*** • Valid Driver’s License (CDL not required) • Clean driving history • Experience in snow removal (preferred, not required) • Availability for on-call work ***OUR MISSION*** Our mission is to perform for our customers the highest level of quality services at fair and market-competitive prices; to ensure the longevity of our company through repeat and referral business achieved by customer satisfaction in all areas, including timeliness, attention to detail, and service-minded attitudes; to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, honesty, and fairness in our relationships with our customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and professional associates.
