Yellowstone Club’s Golf Course Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Landscape Manager. The Landscape Manager is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work under the guidance of the Landscape Manager. The Landscape Manager assists in repairing of failing equipment, recording parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and the routine maintenance and set-up of golf course equipment. The Manager also places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building. Responsibilities Include: -Assist in maintaining the landscaped grounds on the Yellowstone Club property including the golf course. -Manage the greenhouse and all ornamental plant materials utilized in the landscaping of the property. -Select, order, and purchase plants and landscaping materials for the Club grounds and golf course. -Develop yearly Landscape Maintenance plan and schedule. -Design and incorporate the ornamental arrangement of flowers, shrubs, trees in all maintained areas. -Oversee and maintain all irrigation systems on landscape grounds. -Assist with Landscape Department budget and managing of said budget. -Assist with hiring, training, orienting, scheduling and supervising personnel. -Plant, mulch, weed and remove plant materials in accordance with landscape plan. -Mow, line trim, edge, blow, weed mulch and other maintenance duties. -Perform daily tasks associated with proper operation and care of all landscape equipment. -Maintain professional appearance and organized work area at all times -Occasionally required to pick-up plant material and supplies to expedite completion of projects. -Perform pesticide/fertilizer applications and required recordkeeping. Position Requirements: -High School Diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work -Three to five years of landscape maintenance experience -Three years of managerial experience -Demonstrated knowledge of: flowering bulbs; annual and perennial flowers; pesticide/fertilizer applications -Basic irrigation functions and its’ repair and maintenance -Valid Driver’s License -Continuing education encouraged and funded by the club Preferred, but not mandatory: -Bilingual in Spanish and English -Associate’s Degree in Landscape or Horticulture The position offered is full-time, year-round position located in Big Sky, MT.
