Bay Area Entertainment service needs a roadie to load and set-up audio gear on Saturday, October 8. We will be setting up DJ equipment at a wedding. REQUIREMENTS - You are a friendly, dependable team player - You are able to safely lift 50 pounds without too much strain - Ideally you have some audio experience. But it is not required. - You drive a dependable vehicle - You will follow through on your commitment - Ideally, you have or can get a clean black polo or button down dress shirt, black slacks (chinos or dress), and black shoes THE DAY Load gear into van at our Berkeley office at around 11:45AM Drive to venue in Santa Rosa. You will take your own car. Set-up at venue in Santa Rosa at 2:00 PM Be guest-ready by 5:00 PM - Strike systems during the event after guests have moved out of the room - Downtime onsite for some of the event - You can be offsite later in the evening during the dance party Return to venue and stage gear cases at 10:00 PM Strike at 10:30 PM Drive to Berkeley office and load-out van OTHER OPPORTUNITIES If things work out there may be other opportunities in the future COMPENSATION $330 including gas SPECIAL THANKS Special thanks to everyone who responded to my 10/1 opening post and to the person who filled the opening.
