"Mathew 24:34 "“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” Speaking of Israel becoming a Nation once more in 1948. That is the generation that shall not pass away when our Lord and savior returns." ....................................I wonder how, 2000 years ago, Mathew knew that Israel would become a nation in 1948. Why didn't he include that info when he wrote his memoir which is now the book of Mathew? I'm sure this would have been very important for the people of the time to know since they believed that the tribulation would come during their generation. Is it possible that Mathew knew but used the fear of the people as leverage to keep them from straying from his belief system? So, is the foundation of Christianity based on a lie about the future so that the disciples could scare people into believing their political /religious propaganda? This opens a whole new can of worms!!! If Mathew knew, then he intentionally deceived his followers. If Mathew didn't know, then the tribulation never came as predicted and the Bible is a series of lies designed to stoke fear into people for it's own political purposes. Think about it!
