Keep in mind, since the 60's, Democrats have been associated with the educated, white collar folks and Republicans with the uneducated blue collar folks. Democrats promote science while republicans are science deniers. If you say that Democrats have never been considered too intelligent, then knowing republicans are dumber than democrats really puts you low on the I.Q. scale, which probably explains why you unwittingly made such a self defaming comment.
