Rehoming 2 Year Old Half German Shepherd / Half Husky

We are moving soon, and need to rehome Link. We have had Link for over 6 months. He is a sweet and playful dog, that Loves to go on walks, play fetch, and loves squeaky toys!! He enjoys being in the indoors, and really loves being outside in our fenced in backyard, on nice days!! When it is not too hot, he will spend most of the day in our backyard!! We would like Link to have a fenced in back yard at his new home. I know he loves have a safe outdoor space. Link is fine around older children, we are not sure how he would do with younger children though. Link is a nervous dog though, and I would definitely recommend children that are 10 and up around him/Link. Like I say he is a nervous/anxious dog, and we are moving soon. We are worried that he wouldn't do well during our move. So, we think it is best that he is rehomed with another family that Isn't moving soon. What I mean by Link being nervous/anxious, he startles very easy from any loud and sudden noises. He does not like loud trucks, he will not go anywhere near the garbage truck, for example. He does not like water to bathe, or have fun in. He will happily drink it up. It is hard to give him a bath though, or spray it around or whatever to have some water fun. He will run off in the opposite direction of the water. He did bark at door knocks and doorbell rings when we first got him, but with petting him and telling him "It's okay." he has pretty much stopped doing that. He might do it at a new house though. I do recommend Link being the only dog in the house. It would be nice if you have owned dogs in the past, for a better idea of what to expect, but it is fine if Link would be your first dog. Link enjoys resting when he is not playing or being active. He loves his treats!! He knows some tricks..Sit, Shake, Other Shake (will immediately switch paws to shake with), Spin, and Sit Pretty (Stand on his hind legs),. He will happily learn more tricks with treats as a reward!! We want Link to lead a happy dog life, so please message me if you think you can make that happen for him!!! Rehoming fee of $50. Meeting Link/picking up Link will be in the College Place/ Walla Walla area (not the Tri-Cities).
