Dexter, 2 year old male neutered dachshund for rehoming. 15 lbs. Up to date on vaccines and has always had flea, tick, heartworm, worm prevention since he was 10 weeks old. He is super sweet and loves cuddles. Knows sit and beg. He uses puppy pads and goes outside. He doesn’t like to do his business on a leash but will if he is tied up in the yard or free roaming in the yard. He does not do well with other male dogs. He nervous/excited pees with new people and sometimes with unfamiliar situations. When we have friends over we ask them not to pet him or talk to him until he is used to them being around. He does okay once he gets used to people and loves attention. We go through this process every time new people come over if they have not been over in awhile. His new family would have to be patient with him and realize he will have accidents while he gets used to his new home and new surroundings.
