All Star Labor and Staffing is seeking a custodian for a local manufacturing company. This is located directly off the max line at Orenco Station. The hours are M-F 7am-3pm and with a little flexibility in shift times. Pay is $16.50hr. You would need to be an employee of All Star Labor and Staffing. Enter your birthday in this format mm/dd/yyyy We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Custodian. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen/lunch room and public areas. Responsibilities: • Clean building floors daily by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming • Clean entrance windows/doors • Clean/ disinfect and restock restrooms throughout the day • Clean/disinfect shower room daily • Clean and sanitize water/ice dispensers • Clean and disinfect all common areas throughout the day, i.e.: lunchroom/kitchen areas, mail room, conference rooms • Clean interior/exterior of microwaves daily • Clean and disinfect door handles and other high touch surfaces throughout the day • Remove waste and empty trash, recycling • Dust chairs, window ledges, credenzas, cabinets, shelves and other horizontal surfaces • Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies • Organize janitorial storage areas • Assist Maintenance Technician as needed • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance • All other duties as required Qualifications for Custodian • High school diploma or GED • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies • Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally • Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations • Attention to detail • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor • Ability to demonstrate professionalism • Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
