Weekend Horse Farm Work Calais, VT Marcy Baer Beautiful horse farm in East Calais is looking for weekend barn help. Job consists of barn and horse care, including feeding and turning out horses, mucking stalls, filling waters, grooming and so on. Horse experience preferred, but willing to train. Opportunity to trade for board with use of indoor arena, and riding, carriage driving, horsemanship, or mounted archery lessons. Interested? Regular raise with worker's record of reliability and responsibility. - 3-4 hour/days, - Year round work needed. Needs: - Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs. - Show up on time ready to work - Comfort with physical labor and outdoor work in variable weather conditions - Interest in animal husbandry/farm work - Farm work experience preferred, but not essential.
