Job Description: Do you want to work with beautiful views out each window? Do you want to join a small hard working team to help turn milk into delicious cheese? One of the most important roles here is packaging the final product. The over-aching responsibilities of this position is to collect weekly sales orders, fill them and prepare them for shippings. We primarily sell wholesale, but also have a small retail space and online orders. Each week orders are filled, palletized and shipped out every Friday. Job Responsibilities: *Receiver Orders- Confirm weekly sales orders with our remote Sales Director, weekly meeting to ensure that all orders for the weak are in and address any outliers. *Keeping Records: All cheese weights, types, and batch numbers are to be recorded in a weekly spreadsheet. The ability to maintain these detailed records is crucial. *Materials Inventory: Keeping track of relevant materials used and conveying when new items need to be ordered. *Communication: The person in this role must be ready and willing to communicate with others, from our remote sales director, to production, to the distribution company and many others. Qualifications: -Detail oriented -Tech-savvy: familiarity with google, Excel, Dropbox preferred -Cold tolerant: Much of the week will be spent in a 45°F packing room. -Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably -Previous work with food production preferred -Reliable transportation -Vaccinated against COVID-19 - Willingness to Schedule and Benefits: - This is a 40-45 hours per week, Monday - Friday - Health Insurance - Paid Sick Days - Paid Vacation Days - 401K
