2001 Chevy Alternator Needs Replaced This weekend

My alternator went out today on my 2001 chevy van. I need it replaced asap. I will buy the part of course. I am somewhat car savy but dont have the time to deal with it. Will be pRked at my place. I have basic tool set. I have no power tools or air tools. Please know how to do this. I just need it done faster otherwise I would just take it in. But right now it is my only car.
