Description
Responsibilities:
MUST BE MOTIVATED AND SELF STARTER
• Prompt and courteous handling of all resident service request.
• Maintenance of vacant apartments and the buildings according to schedule.
• To maintain neat, orderly and safe workshop and storage areas.
Duties:
• Maintain and repair all heating and air conditioning equipment such as coils, fans, blowers, controls, etc.
• Maintain and repair electrical.
• Maintain pool.
• Maintain and repair appliances.
• Maintain and repair general plumbing.
• Perform general carpentry repairs.
• Dispose of litter and debris whenever encountered.
• Other duties as outlined by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
• Will routinely, as a part of job duties, be required to lift objects weighing as much as 50 lbs. and occasionally, lifting requirements will exceed 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
• Full-time maintenance experience or experience in related field, or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to work with persons of all ethnic and family backgrounds to understand the problems and attitudes of residents.
• Experience in the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, work, electrical work, painting, cleaning and HVAC, or willingness to be trained.
• Willingness to pitch in and work in areas other than strictly repair maintenance-janitorial, custodial, landscaping, painting, etc.
• Ability to assist the Property Manager in his/her duties as needed.
