IMPORTANT PLEASE READ, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE SCHEDULE They are working 24/7, divided into 4 crews that work 12-hour shifts. Rotating days or nights with every other weekend off (3 days!). Usually, they rotate shifts between night and day every 3 months.* 2 SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE! 6 am-6:30 PM 6 pm-6:30 AM (Not a felony-friendly employer) A Production Assistant in a production environment includes equipment operating at very high temperatures, often resulting in temperatures inside the production area that are higher than ambient temperatures. The employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, sharp equipment components and tools, hot surfaces, hot plastic, hot water, wet or slippery floor conditions, airborne dust and particles, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee will work in high places using fall arrest equipment. Regular tasks include verifying ingredients, refilling hoppers, weighing materials, and labeling containers, all according to documented procedures and instructions provided by management; properly documenting and evaluating these material handling activities according to established procedures and other instructions provided by management; communicating any deficiencies to management; assisting management with problem resolution related to material handling activities and documenting any resulting actions; maintaining housekeeping of the production area; and performing other tasks directed by management. The employee is required to walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and stoop. The employee will frequently lift items up to 55 pounds from floor level to above shoulder height and use devices that require a pushing or pulling force of up to 120 pounds. The employee will climb ladders and perform tasks at heights greater than 6 feet and stand on a concrete floor or platform regularly throughout a 12-hour shift.
