Looking for an experienced, service oriented maintenance professional to be a part of my growing business! This will be a 1099, independent contractor position for which we will provide daily work to be completed under specified parameters. Expanding business servicing property owners (primarily investors), property management companies, real estate professionals and homeowners. I will keep you busy! Punctuality, communication and ability to follow directions i.e. providing pictures documenting work are a must. Needs to be a strong problem solver and good decision maker. Needs to possess own tools but can furnish equipment (purchase or rent) under certain conditions. Will provide uniform shirts within 1st 14 days on job (will order to size). Jobs will be paid piece-rate per job at a minimum of $30/hour; may be more depending on the job but minimum compensation will be $30/hour. Compensation for fully completed jobs will be delivered by electronic transfer weekly on Fridays; must bank with a bank which accepts Zelle (online funds transfer). Looking for a general maintenance employee with a diverse set of skills in the following areas: - General plumbing i.e. install a faucet, install a garbage disposal, replace a shower cartridge, install a sink - Basic electrical i.e. change a light switch, replace a wall outlet, change a light fixture - Flooring i.e. install vinyl plank, glue down vinyl/laminate, install quarter round/trim - Install locks, door knobs - Install blinds or other window/door treatments i.e. vertical blinds - Drywall repair and painting - Basic landscaping i.e. bush trimming, landscaping bed clean-up, plant flowers/bushes, etc. - Additional basic maintenance as necessary i.e. small repairs to roof sheathing inside attics, fabricate/rebuild drawers/cabinet faces (light carpentry), rescreening window screens/doors, remove & install windows as needed - Additional tasks based on technician's abilities Must have a presentable appearance as you will often be working with the general public. Must have your own vehicle ($50 weekly stipend for gas will be provided) suitable for transporting materials (ideally a truck or van), a valid driver's license and no past legal issues precluding you from entering a property or which will create an insurance issue.
