Description

Facilities IT Temp Job Purpose: Ability to solve basic, common user problems in real time, including software functionality; network troubleshooting, PC and network configuration; operating system and browser related issues • Adding and removing systems to the domain • Setting up proprietary software and configurations to company policies and specifications • Windows systems knowledge and setup, emphasis on Windows 10 • Application maintenance (entry level) • Hardware configuration (workstation & peripherals) • Troubleshooting skills • Provide on-site support to all staff • Actively involved in problem resolution, follow-up, testing, workarounds and equipment suggestions • Facilitate warranty claims and exchanges • Other duties as assigned. Key Job Elements • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds (various computer/printer equipment) • Position requires a valid State issued Driver’s License • Applicants must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings • Must be able to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing • Ideal candidates are flexible, self-motivated and self-managing, with a strong sense of team and the ability to also work independently. Education / Training • A high school education or equivalent is required with 5+ years IT/Computer experience; OR 2-year technical degree or Microsoft certifications plus 2+ years’ experience • On the job training is available to otherwise qualified candidates. Qualifications and Experience Required: • Basic networking experience with TCP/IP and Windows network • Basic system administration experience, Windows preferred • Familiar with Microsoft products Preferred: • Basic Microsoft Office experience, including O365 • Prior warehouse IT experience strongly desired • A+ Certified -- This will be a 2 step interview process -- ***Please email resume if interested***
