The Pullet Ranch Labor I position is responsible for caring for the pullets and completing routine pullet farm duties and repairs. This person will assist in ensuring pullets have proper access to feed and water, monitoring air quality and lighting, and keeping the pullet house and its equipment clean and in good repair. This person may assist with periodic equipment and system maintenance, preventative maintenance, and assist with fixing broken equipment as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Perform all duties and tasks related to maintaining a safe work environment  Perform all duties and tasks related to the safety and security of buildings, equipment, tools, pullets, and all company property  Understand and follow all SOPs and all programs and procedures related to the job  Will report any animal welfare, food safety, and other issues/concerns to their Manager and/or Supervisor  Clean and wash poultry houses between flocks  Administer vaccinations to the pullets as directed by the Manager/Supervisor  Participate in all aspects of the bird moving process including loading pullet racks and trucks  Assist and/or perform the beak conditioning process  Learning the process of drawing blood from chickens  Weigh pullets with a digital scale  Check water, and feed lines and monitor feed levels  Check for sick or injured birds  Collect and dispose of mortality  Ensure all lights are in working order and clean  Monitor air quality and advise the Farm Manager or Supervisor of any irregularities Cleaning disposal, ( bird poop ) HIRING FOR RACNHERS!! OUTSIDE FILLED, TAKE CARE OF CHICKENS AND CLEAN AFTER THEM 1ST SHIFT M-F RARE SATURDAYS OR WEEKEND. FULL TIME 8-12 HOURS DAILY LONG TERM. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!
