Champion Pool Distributors of Edison New Jersey is a growing company looking for talented individuals interested in full time warehouse positions. We ship and receive above ground swimming pools and swimming pool supplies for large pool retail companies. This is a general labor warehouse position involving package handling and operating an automatic stretch-wrap machine. Some heavy lifting will be involved. No experience necessary, though we prefer employees with prior knowledge of the use of basic warehouse machines, like the automatic pallet jack. Why you should work with us: -Competitive pay - Starting rates of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on previous warehouse experience -With excellent performance, the opportunity for increased responsibility and higher pay -This position requires overtime hours during our busy season (Spring and Summer). We pay time and a half for overtime. Responsibilities: Select orders, pick, pack, and ship merchandise or material Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material Stock receivables and manage inventory Clean and organize the warehouse Prepares all shipping orders in a timely and accurate manner Qualifications: Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work overtime, including some weekends, in the months of March - July Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. in weight Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Supplemental pay types: -Edison, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Heavy lifting: 1 year (Required) Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred) Basic math: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: One location
