Baseball Players,
Looking for a place to play real baseball in 2023? Tired of playing softball or need more from your life than watching your kid play on the weekends? Consider playing in the Kansas City Amateur Baseball Association (KCABA)! My name is Jonathan Krysa and I am the President of the KCABA. The league was established in 2008 and I have been in charge since 2013.
2023 Season:
- 20-30 games scheduled (April-August)
- Playoffs/Championship (September)
- Fields: IAC, Crysler Stadium, Macken Park (turf), Capital Federal (turf), Creekside (turf), and KC Monarchs Just Bats Stadium at Legends Field
- KCABA Cup - buy-in tournament at end of year will have teams from Arkansas come play
Price to Play:
The player pricing will depend on what days your team chooses to play on, and how many games are scheduled. Pricing will range from about $350-$500 per player for KCABA Team League Fees which include: Fields, Baseballs, NABA Dues, and upmires.
Game Dates/Times:
- Wednesday's will start at 6:15pm and 8:45pm; 7 inning games with 2 hr time limit; or Run Rule: 10 runs after 5 innings - Sundays will start at 11am; if DHers on Sundays, times will be 11am/1:30pm, 4:00/6:30pm and single game at 8:45pm
- 9 inning games will be 2.5 hour time limits or Run Rule: 10 runs after 7 innings
Sunday League Season starts: April 2, 2023
Wednesday League Season starts: April 5, 2023
