Looking to put together a rock n roll band of retired/semi-retired oldsters like myself that are itching to get back into the rock n roll groove. I figure there is a vast plethora of us 1st wave baby boomers whose grandkids are beyond daycare, school plays, music recitals, etc. which equals less distractions and more time to work on our rock star status that we missed out on since life always seems to get in the way. Not looking for recording contracts but would entertain a one hit wonder opportunity if it came along. Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and Drums with Frankie Valli and Bette Midler clones to front us, complete with a fully stocked rehearsal space and loaded beer fridge a mile or two from where I live would be a good start, but since that's a near impossibility, I will simply take whatever I can find. I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination and can't carry a tune, but I have played multiple instruments through the years and have recently settled on a double stacked Casio Keyboard system which allows me to keep my left hand down low on the bottom layer in order for it not to go numb. So, having said that, I begin my search of other infirmed souls who are seeking to expound upon those one million eight hundred thousand three hundred and sixty-one songs from the 60's, 70's into the 80's and whatever originals we can concoct to help us achieve our allotted 15 minutes of fame.
