Looking for general construction work with the opportunity to specialize in tower construction and technician for rural internet service provider. Full-time positions. JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Good character; must be dependable and honest, self-starter, result-oriented, and a team player. Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work under diverse seasonal conditions. Must comply with company and industry safety standards. Support tower construction and antenna and line installation activities as directed. Must exhibit good physical stamina with the ability to lift 80 pounds and climb structures as high as 1500’. Must be able to pass DOT/Medical Physical. Ability to read, and interpret site plans, blueprints, and tower drawings. Operate and distribute, pick up and organize tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to assist in the construction and maintenance of all types of towers (guy, self-supporting, monopole, flagpoles, rooftop, and water tank applications ranging in height from 60’ to 1500’). Assist crew in the safe and proper installation of all types of antennas and microwave dishes. Work with Construction Supervisors and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials. Complete work promptly and efficiently as delegated by Construction Supervisor and Foreman. RECOMMENDED MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid state-issued driver’s license. TRAINING, CERTIFICATES, AND LICENSES: NOTE: Last Mile Networks will train and invest in those with construction experience new to the industry.
